About the Trip
The Margaree River is one of the more scenic rivers on Cape Breton Island and this adventure takes you upstream past its popular Atlantic Salmon fishing pools to its headwaters and into true wilderness. This weekend trip will require some white water navigating through some exciting class II rapids followed by an easy paddle exploring the lower river ending near LLIT HQ.

This trip will require a decent level of fitness and mobility since you will be required to hike off-trail to access the river, paddling for most of the day through class 2+ rapids.
The weather can fluctuate a lot during the the trip. We go rain or shine.
We will provide you with a personal gear checklist and have a minimum requirement for some personal gear and items.
This trip is through a very remote area of the Cape Breton Highlands with little to no quick access points until the end of day 2.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The final balance is due 28 days before the departure date.
Cancellation Policy:
Full refund if canceled up to 28 days before the trip start date.
50% refund if canceled between 28 and 14 days before the trip start date.
No refund will be provided if canceled between 14 days and the trip start date.
