Packraft Rentals

What is a packraft? A packraft is a portable lightweight inflatable boat. Packrafts pack down small and can easily fit in your backpack, on your bike, or in your car. A packraft opens up endless possibilities for adventure, and it is quite common for packrafters to combine several sports like hiking, biking, skiing, climbing, and paddling.

These boats are super stable and suitable for anything from flat water to whitewater and perfect for fishermen looking to spend the day exploring and fishing the Margaree River or, any other paddling adventure you had in mind. These boats weigh about 15 lbs and roll up for easy transport.

• Weight: 15 lbs - Perfect for hiking into hard-to-reach locations to paddle out.

• Low clearance. Perfect for lower water levels.

Your rental will include:

• 1 PFD

• 1 Paddle

• 1 River Map or directions where to put in / take out on the Margaree… whatever we have in stock at the time.

*Shuttles to various parts of the Margaree River are available along with optional add-ons. Package rentals together and save 15%.

• Dry Duffles and barrel packs are available to rent if needed.

• Drysuits are available to rent.

• A shuttle is only available within the Margaree River system (NE & SW Rivers).

  • Ross (Port Tree) Bridge or Scotsville bridge to any point downstream - $30.00

  • Big Intervale Bridge or Lake Ainsley - $35.00

  • Highlands drop off to portage points in the upper NE Margaree River - Please email to discuss rates as they will vary depending on group size. *Please note that the upper river water levels are not suitable for canoes after mid-June.
