Come in and say hello to our new Ingonish Beach location on the other side of the Cabot Trail!

Our new second location, located in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, at Ingonish Beach, is your adventure hub on the north side of the Cabot Trail!

Here’s what you can find at this location:

  • 90 min Kayak & Sup Rentals on Freshwater Lake

  • Rent a tent, sleeping bag, and other camping/hiking equipment

  • Pick up stove fuel, freeze dried camping meals

  • Fresh, locally roasted, coffee or tea

  • LLIT and other cabot trail merch

  • Small retail shop with snacks, refreshments, ice cream, sunscreen and more!

What you can find at Ingonish Beach!

Our shop is located at 90 Beach Rd, Ingonish Beach and open Daily from 9 am to 6 pm.

Kayak / SUP Rentals

  • All Kayak and Sup Rentals are based on a 90min rental on Freshwater Lake.

    Pick from a selection of single or tandem kayaks or try out paddleboarding.

    Rentals are offered daily between 9 am and 6 pm, with the exception for special events.

    All rentals are walk-up only.

  • Kayak and Sup Rental fees are as follows:

    • Single Kayak - $35

    • Tandem - $60

    • Kid’s Kayak - $25

    No deposit required upfront! Payment required after the rental is completed.

Camping Gear Rentals

  • All camping gear rentals are available from June - October and are available to rent by the day, weekend, or week.

    Rent any single item OR rent a package at a discounted rate.

    All camping gear rentals from Ingonish can be returned to the Ingonish rental location for FREE, or to our Margaree Location for a $10 fee.

    Here’s what we have to rent:

    • 2 - Person Tents

    • Sleeping Bags

    • Sleeping Pads

    • Stove Systems (fuel not included but can be purchased)

    • Cookware Sets

    • Hiking Poles

  • Our rental pricing is based on a per-day, weekend or weekly basis.

Summer Events

  • We’ll be hosting a series of summer events and rental specials from our Ingonish location.

Retail Shop

  • Pop into our shop for a morning cup of coffee, pick up some camping supplies you may have forgotten or grab a snack for the beach!

    We’ve also got exclusive LLIT clothing and tons of gifts and other small souvenir items to grab on your way around the cabot trail!

  • Our shop is open daily from June to September and on weekends September to October.

    Hours - 9 am - 6 pm

All rentals out of Ingonish are walk-up only.
